Mind- The Creator

This post is especially written to enhance our awareness and becoming more and more conscious of the nature our mind to create.

At first it’s important to ask ourselves few questions that will lead us to this elevated consciousness level.

1. Are we creating our life situations based on the inner direction of will and clear desire? or our mind is simply reacting to the environmental influences?

2. Is our mind taking instructions from our inner will and desire or its mechanically reacting to the environmental influences?

When we ask these critical questions to ourselves we will realize most of the times our mind is reacting mechanically to the environmental interactions whether with some person or an object. We are conscious at initial stage but this consciousness does not continuously remain with ourselves until and unless we are putting a lot of physical and mental efforts to remain conscious of how we behave in the social atmosphere.

Observing our mind we will also know how our mind is a big creator. It has the capacity to recall and recreate from the past that which is in memory again in front of our eyes and also that which does not exist in present or in future with the help of its imaginative power. As far as the mind is intuned with the reality and obeys instructions from our inner self all the creations from this stable, still, serene, calm, and peaceful mind will be in elevated consciousness levels and perfectly aligned. However, if the mind is working independently of the consciousness then all the beautiful creations from the mind will make us miserable.

Whatever we see through our mind it’s our own creation. Once we realize this we will create only that which is truly valuable to us and overcome all the chaos that we might create by scattering our time and energies in doing multiple things that are not our top priority.

A question that might come to our mind is why to make so many efforts to understand our Mind and raise our consciousness?

Because It is our choice to live life the way it is or understand and experience life in the deepest possible ways. Choosing to explore our mind and increasing consciousness levels so as to become more evolved man seems to be the main purpose in any persons life.

It is said that if you want to observe how your mind reacts or responds then it can be best observed when you interact or communicate with some person. In these human relationships there is a huge potential for us to mirror ourselves and REJOICE WHO REALLY ARE! AND EXCLUDE ALL THAT WE ARE NOT! REJOICING WHO WE ARE AND NEGATING ALL THAT WE ARE NOT THESE BOTH ARE MEANS TO MIRRORING AT LOOKING AT WHO WE REALLY ARE!

How To Keep Our Mind Healthy?

To define Mind is a intricate task, as the mind has so many aspects to describe and there is no definite set of idea and knowledge to exactly pin point out Mind. There is no doubt about our physical body as it is very apparent to our senses. With regards to our Mind our idea about Mind is based on experience, experience of our thought processes, thinking patterns, emotions that evoke, dreams that we see during our sleeping hours etc. Mind being a very complex element in any persons life a lot of people face major challenges in their routine life to deal with the mind. Normally it is supposed to be our conscious being/ True inner self that should guide and direct the mind for all our life activities but due to lack of proper knowledge and awareness our mind turns mechanical and directs all our life activities creating a chaos and unpleasantness in our life. Mind needs to be used as just one tool to guide us through the life journey.

So after exploring the basic question as to why we get stressed out and get disturbed when we face simple things in our life like having conversation with someone, at our workplace doing routine work, studying some wonderful concepts to gain knowledge, dealing with finance, in terms of relationships with parents/husband/wife/friends/colleagues, in raising children, and many different areas of our life.

Is this how our life is supposed to be?

Is this how our precious time and energy be spent in all the unnecessary mental chaos so far away from the REAL AND BEAUTIFUL LIFE?

Isn’t this life supposed to be lived JOYFULLY? Every Moment? instead of undergoing all these stress turmoils of emotional hurts and ego conflicts in our relationships with our fellow beings and in relationships with the external world that we live in living or non living by getting influenced by all the likes and dislikes our mind and dividing the world in good and bad thereby being in continuous inner conflict that leads to stress in the mind?

How would our life situations be if we rejoice everything that we do no matter how small the task be? Shouldn’t we realize and experience for REAL the beauty of having human relationships- parents/husband/wife/brother/sister/friends/colleagues, and not just human relationships also rejoicing our relationship with the surrounding living or nonliving, our relationship with the sunrise, our relationship with the birds flying in the sky, our relationship with the sky, the soil, the trees around, the air we breathe in, the water we drink, and all the wonderful things on this planet earth, having meaningful and great conversations with fellow beings that strengthen the human bonding, gaining knowledge that elevates our spirit to live life to the fullest, doing business and deal with the money for personal and family security, in raising children so they can be future great human beings and contribute great things to the society, etc etc. ??????????????

8 STEPS TO KEEP OUR MIND HEALTHY ALWAYS

1. First thing is to attune yourself, your physical body and mind with the nature/the existence/the creation! This will ensure a blissful life NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATIONS OF YOUR LIFE!

2. To write a daily diary of THINGS TO DO AND TASKS ACHIEVED!- Doing so helps us keep our mind focused and organized. We do not want to put too many memories in our mind and brain so we miss our eyesight for the high priority tasks.

3. To know different aspects of our Mind by reading high quality literature and to understand it well so we can handle different situations of life joyfully and with ease! Here i suggest all to read “THE ENNEAGRAM SYSTEM” BY G.I GURDJIEF, its a brilliant system to understand human beings at the deepest possible levels! This is a great treasure if one understands it well and imbibes it! 4. After knowing these different aspects of our Mind the next thing is to be with this awareness always and grow in this awareness.

5. To understand the dynamics of human relationships. Our relations with fellow beings determines the quality of our life. We could become miserable or transform in to the highest potential being, it all depends on how SENSITIVELY, CAREFULLY AND LOVINGLY we handle our relationships with fellow beings!

6. Nurture the habit of reading and writing daily to take care of our BEAUTIFUL CASTLE/THE MIND! We must ensure what seeds we put in our mind. These seeds are the thoughts that we put in our mind.

7. After understanding the dynamics of human relationships it is important we stay integrated with our personal, social, and professional lives.

8. Always ensure you live your life to the fullest by maintaining a little distance between your true inner self and the mind, all your senses and mind in complete state of integrity with your inner self! This way you are the director of your film, the captain of the ship and pilot of your aircraft and not a Robot!

Hygiene & Unhygiene, Order And Disorder

I always observe the impact of hygienic atmosphere and orderly arrangements of things in the surrounding environment on my mind. So much so that someone could mistake it for an obsession. If we connect spiritual principle to this observation, all spiritual leaders, saints and enlightened beings say whether we want it or not, the reality and truth is the moment we are born on this planet we are in a relationship. Relationship of our inner world with the external which cannot be separated by our will as it is the nature of how life is operating on earth. Therefore, whats going on in the external world impacts our inner world(mind) and vice versa. Same is true with hygiene and orderly arrangements of things in our physical environment.

What happens when I notice some dirt or garbage in my surrounding, the appearance of it, the smell of it? and how my mind is reacting to this particular situation. To the readers I would ask if they have observed this in detail, but I assume most folks’ mind would react in a similar manner. Lets say we try and divert our attention from this situation and surrounding, what happens? Still there is a inner wish that the surrounding be clean and things be orderly. And what emotions and thoughts are being generated? I guess they need not be described in detail. But what I am trying to say is every thing in the surrounding good or bad creates impact on our mind, as there are some inborn instincts that we are born with and its always nice to be aware of this instincts and live in-tuned with them for pleasant experiences in our life. Same is true for orderly things, somewhere back of our mind orderly things create a pleasant experience in our mind and unorderly things could be disturbing.

Alcohol, Drugs and Smoking

Why do people choose addiction as a way of living? Does it really make people stronger? Does it give people euphoria or lets ask what do people achieve by becoming an addict?

Today, I while I was waiting for the train near the platform and studying for my exams side by side, I was forced to think about these questions when I saw a young drunk man, aggressive, and verbally fighting with 3 policeman and 1 policewoman for unknown reasons. Very soon the team knocked down the guy and handcuffed him. After they tied him on the ground a bottle of alcohol dropped out from his jacket. I saw this bottle and got compassionate for the enforcement team, the young chap and the people around.

Was the young man conscious of what he was doing and saying?

I got carried away by this sight looking at foolishness and stupidity of this young chap to rise against the law and order enforcement team for unknown reason. What could be the reason? From the way he was aggressively saying bad and insulting words to the policeman it appeared he needed the freedom to do something which the team consider inappropriate in that public place. In my past experience of my home country, when a drunk man is caught by a police personel he completely surrenders and apologize even when he is drunk. To compare the systems of a developed and developing country, the freedom given by the nation to a person in a developed nation is supreme as compared to a developing nation. This freedom when unconsciously and consciously misused due to addiction reasons or egocentric ideas, leads to all the rubbish thoughts and emotions like anger, frustration, hatred, enemity, etc etc etc, and as a consequence fights, conflicts and continuous friction among people. Probably it was the same situation here, where this chap had misued his freedom inadvertently. What we can observe is consuming alcohol, drugs or smoking has tendencies to become completely unaware and aquire inappropriate and illusionary ways of living wherein a person gets dismantled from the real world of living such as the example here.

This scene was a little disturbing so I thought to pen it down to transform my experience into a beautiful one.
